- Newsrooms & press — dossiers used as research input for published reporting are routinely approved.
- Students & faculty — dossiers used for thesis work, classroom material, or independent research are routinely approved.
- Pre-seed founders — when the dossier directly informs a fundraise narrative and revenue is below meaningful thresholds, we usually approve.
- Non-profits with verifiable charitable status are usually approved.
Commercial use, agency client deliverables, and competitive-intelligence work for for-profit teams are not eligible for free access — those tiers should be paid directly via /compass.
